AeroCharge Army SBIR Phase I Award

Los Angeles, CA – AeroCharge announces it has been selected by the U.S. Army for an SBIR Phase I contract in the amount of $149,827. The U.S. Army’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program aims to foster innovation by providing small businesses with the opportunity to develop and commercialize cutting-edge technologies to support military operations. This initiative will address critical challenges related to inventory management by leveraging AeroCharge’s advanced tracking system, which uses real-time, data-driven insights to streamline inventory processes, reduce errors, and optimize logistical operations.

About AeroCharge

AeroCharge’s Automated Inventory Tracking solution utilizes long-range RFID technology and machine learning to provide real-time visibility into inventory. The system continuously scans inventory across a facility, sending data about item location and details to existing inventory management systems like SAP, Oracle, and custom warehouse management systems. Its AI-powered algorithms automate resupply planning, analyzing data to predict stock-outs and create dynamic resupply plans, ensuring stable stock levels. Additionally, AeroCharge’s patented RFID system offers up to 100ft coverage and can scan up to 1000 tags per second, making it highly efficient with no need for line of sight or battery replacements for tags. These capabilities will significantly improve asset management and operational efficiency for the Army.
